After a successful 2021, it is time to start 2022 with exciting news. We are happy to announce a collaboration with Makai Yachts. Makai Yachts will debute their first model in the summer of 2022, the M37. Alongside M37, there is the M45.

The two models were developed in collaboration with the Italian designer Emanuele Rossi of EYRD Design. The M37 model is powered by a twin installation of 8LV320. The unique catamaran is spacious, offering a cockpit area of 19 m². The catamarans are equipped by Air-Glide shock absorbing system and it increases the boat’s efficiency proportionally with speed. The M45 model is powered by a twin installation of 6LY400, 400 horsepower engines. Make sure to check out the website and social media for more information on Makai Yachts.

Referring to the engine lines, the 8LV engine series is a compact power unit with an extremely efficient and versatile design. The V8 common rail configuration allows for balanced and quiet running of the engine. The 8LV line has the best power-to-ratio in its class, making it the ideal choice for both new builds and repowering. The series has three output models – 320, 350 and 370 horsepower.

The 6LY engine series entails a smooth and robust 6 cylinder in-line engine, offering impressively clean and powerful performance. The series has two output models – 400 and 440 horsepower, it is electronically controlled and with JC20 joystick control options for twin shaftdrive applications. The series features a lightweight profile, making it as well a perfect solution for both new builds and repowering.
